THIS month, being the first month where Labor and Greens will have the majority in the senate, will see the attempted introduction of a Bill that will destroy the institute of marriage between male and female. Yes if this Bill, called “Same-Sex Relationships (Equal Treatment In Commonwealth Laws-Superannuation) Bill 2008” is passed you will no longer be able to identify yourself as “wife or husband”, but you will be a “partner”. You will no longer have a “marital relationship” but will have a “couple relationship”. The definition of marital relationship will be repealed.

Can you just imagine the interview in Government offices, trying to explain whether you are just good friends, sharing a house, or lovers sharing the same bed or bedroom. Who does the cooking, who does the laundry, how long have you been living together, is it permanent or only a casual relationship? The mind boggles as to where this could lead, especially if you are due to inherit a lofty sum in superannuation and your flat sharing friend decides that he/she wants a part of it.

The last time the Socialists got this power they introduced the Family Court and the Child Support Agency, which caused more suffering and anguish to families and children than any other social change in centuries. This, in comparison will make it all look like a family picnic.
