RE: The Thumbs Down in The Tamworth Times on August 6 referring to the duck which was killed in Jewry Street, apparently by a driver who didn’t attempt to miss it.

This duck is one of two which spends every winter at our flats and is nesting at the moment. The female is fretting and calls him constantly.

She keeps standing in the middle of the road.

If it was a human, I would think she was trying to commit suicide.

If you have any compassion at all, I hope this stops you before you kill something else.
