Name and shame child sex offenders

Name and shame child sex offenders

ONCE again I write in support of our police force that constantly does its best to uphold law and order with one hand tied behind its back, particularly when it brings law breakers to court. The courts I believe do not uphold community expectations in today’s world.

You recently had an article in your paper – “Child abuse crackdown

success”.

In this article you mentioned several males who were arrested in our region which shocked some people, because they didn’t believe there were men around who would be involved in such crime and I quote from your article.

“More than 500 alleged child sex offenders and abusers have been arrested by the NSW Police Force in the past 12 months.

“The NSW Police’s Child protection and Sex Crimes Squad’s Sex Crimes Teams and Child Exploitation Internet Unit investigation resulted in 38 arrests and 182 charges in the past 12 months. The joint investigative response teams have made 480 arrests and have laid more than 2200 charges”.

A fantastic job by whoever played a part in this investigation and arrests in our local district.

It makes you sick when you think that while you are reading this letter, there is probably a person near you who is looking up porn images on the internet, of young children, to get his jollies.

Well I say lock them away for a long spell in a jail, where the inmates will deal with them. I am sick of these people who have up until recently been protected by the “civil libertarians” in our community.

Australian history has been changed to where our children cannot be allowed to walk to and from school in their neighbourhood, because these people live among us.

We, as a community, must always know who and where they are. I believe 90 per cent of our community is really very angry today about people who commit these crimes.

The civil libertarians will protest, but I say too bad; the perpetrators should have thought of that before they started their filthy habit. Make sure you tell your politician how you feel. We have become a weak nation.
