“NEVER has so much depended on so few,” said Winston Churchill in the dark days of World War II. He never guessed that his words would apply to an even darker situation now.

And who are those few? They are those who have twigged that global warming is for real. Tweaking petrol prices won’t stave off the oil crisis and making pretend “progress” at a meeting of world leaders won’t stop the biosphere from collapsing.

We need wise leadership now. Don’t look to the politicians: they don’t get it. Do you? If so, please educate, encourage and inspire your local community to do whatever it can to save and renew energy. Our nation and our planet depends on
