5/09/2008 | FIVE talented young cyclists are chasing national titles in Canberra this weekend.
Tamworth sisters Alex and Lizzie Nicholls, Gunnedah’s Jack Hickey, Inverell’s Ethan Kimmince and Tamworth’s Sam Spokes are all riding in national events in the nation’s capital from today.
Time trials in the various age groups will be raced today, road races tomorrow and then criteriums on Sunday.

22/08/2008 | TAMWORTH Kart Racing Club’s annual Alan Cox Cup meeting has a vintage variation this weekend.
Not only will the club stage its annual 12 class meeting with more than 100 karts low-flying around Oakburn Park, it will also have some 50 vintage karts from all over Australia at its inaugural demonstration.
President Paul Hull and new publicity officer Craig Masters reckon this weekend will be one of the club’s best with the addition of those vintage karts.
